Addison Singleton, who is leading the walk, has a Master of Science in Wildlife and Natural Resource Sciences and is working on her PhD in Animal and Natural Resource Sciences. Addison is currently the instructor for General Entomology at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX, and formerly taught Pollinator Ecology and Conservation. Her primary research focuses on plant-pollinator interactions in the context of anthropogenic disturbances, but she is also investigating plant-caterpillar relationships under drought and various other research projects looking at the presence of microplastics in arthropods, using novel techniques to sample for bumble bees in Texas, predicting bumble bee habitats in Texas, and floral reward changes under drought. Addison finds nothing more fulfilling than exploring the different species with whom we share the planet with, especially "the little things that run the world!"
