School Group Tour PoliciesSchool group visits are scheduled Tuesday through Friday (excluding holidays).
Thank you for your interest in school group tours at Clark Gardens Botanical Park! Clark Gardens Botanical Park is a 501c3 educational foundation. We are dedicated to providing an opportunity for all ages to experience nature. As a member of the "No Child Left Inside Coalition" we strive to work with educators to introduce the youth of today to the benefits of outdoor environmental education.
To request a school group tour, please fill out the request form. After we receive the information, we will contact you to finalize the details of your informative, fun-filled visit.
Requests will be scheduled based on space availability. The number of groups scheduled per morning or afternoon is limited.
School Group Admission RateSchool groups are allowed one visit per school calendar year with no admission fee charged per student. We require that one teacher per every 6 students accompany the students (no fee applies for the required teachers). Group rate fees of $5.00/person apply for each additional teacher and/or for all parents, siblings or chaperones.
If a school group desires more than one visit per school calendar year regular admission rates apply for students, teachers, chaperones, parents and siblings. We require that one teacher per every 6 students accompany the students.
Unless prior arrangements are made, the teacher or group leader is to collect all fees in advance for additional teachers, parents, siblings and chaperones and present one payment upon arrival to our admissions office.
All students and accompanying adults (teachers, parents, chaperones) will be provided wrist bands and will be expected to wear them at all times while on the Clark Garden property.
School Group ProgramsSchool groups may request one of our educational programs to be presented to their students. There is no additional charge on the first visit of the calendar year. A self-guided tour is NOT considered a program. The staff will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests. However, at times, based on staffing and unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to substitute an age appropriate program.
More than one educational program can be provided. Additional fees apply. School groups are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and picnic in the park.
