Description:

Learn to can homemade soups with Mennonite teacher Mary Otto in the gourmet kitchen of one of the private Clark Family homes. Each student will go home with a jar of each delicious recipe! Lunch is included.

Mary will demonstrate canning home made soup: both a chicken noodle soup and a tomato based soup. Mary's down to earth, practical, waste not want not, approach provides students with a simple, step-by-step approach to canning. She gives students the confidence to go home and give it a try themselves.
