April 13th and 14th, 2013: The Spring Festival is a weekend of fun, food and entertainment for all ages.The festival is presented by State Bank Mineral Wells * Possum Kingdom * Weatherford.

Spring Festival 2013 presented by State Bank Mineral Wells, Possum Kingdom and Weatherford will have activities sure to please everyone in your family. The East Tent hosts the Wine, Cheese and Art. Texas wineries will be offering great wines for tasting and purchasing. And while you enjoy the wine, sample delicious cheese from award winning local Texas artesian cheese makers.

Classic Car Show | Motorcycle Show | Model Train Show | Children's Activities
Additional activities include car show (Saturday), motorcycle show (Sunday), model train show (including visiting train clubs North Texas T-Trak Modular Railroad Club, North Texas Garden Club Railroad Club, and Tex-N Modular Railroad Club, children's activities including a strolling puppet show, face painting, and obstacle course.

Motorcycle Show

Sunday, April 14th
Bike Arrival: 11:00 am
People's Choice Voting: noon to 3:30 pm

On Sunday, April 14th of Spring Festival, motorcycles will be uniquely displayed in the SHADE throughout the garden in and amongst the flowers, lakes, trees and pavilions.

Motorcycle Show Categories include the following:

  • Vintage/Classic - Any Make Stock Motorcycle 1985 or older
  • Custom - Alterations from Stock Motorcycle
  • American Touring
  • European Touring
  • Japanese Touring
  • American Sport Bike
  • Japanese Sport Bike
  • European Sport Bike
  • Competition Bike
  • Rat Bike
  • Trike - Any Three-Wheeled Motorcycle

Awards: A trophy will be awarded to People's Choice in each category

Join us for a family friendly, fun filled day in the beautiful 35-acre Clark Gardens. Show off your bike, enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow bikers and take part in the additional festival activities including an art show, music, wine and cheese tasting, model train show, Saturday car show, plant sales, vendor shopping area, children's play area and education stations covering topics regarding sustainable gardening.

Who better personifies "The Art of Living... Texas Style" than bikers!

So Much To See And Learn
Education stations will be giving advice and how to's on subjects such as: gardening, bee keeping, tree identification, composting, rabbits, container gardening, chickens, and the practice of EarthKind gardening. Wow!

Kiddie Passenger Train & Shopping
If all this activity makes you too tired OR you just need a nap after the wine tasting, you won't want to miss tooling around the garden in the small passenger train (big enough for adult kids too) conducted by Minors Entertainment. And if shopping is your thing... we have vendors galore offering products for the most discerning shopper.
