Call to Artists for Spring Festival 2012
Annual Spring Festival, March 30-April 1st, 2012.
The Festival will feature Texas wines, cheeses and art. Additional festival activities include educational stations, gardening demonstrations, classic car show and motorcycle show. Last year’s attendance was 1500 guests over the two day period. Clark Gardens is a large 35-acre facility which is capable of housing large scale pieces of art.
Artists may choose to: 1) Exhibit Only: Artwork will be exhibited in the gardens or 2) Exhibit and booth: highlighting various works of art for sale.

Education Stations Featuring Green Lifestyle
- Brandon & Susan Pollard will be educating our visitors about the benefits of having Bees. They are members of the Texas Honeybee Guild. They will have a live bee display. The Texas Honeybee Guild on Facebook.
- There will be multiple stations for beneficial insects such as butterflies, worms, ladybugs, beneficial nematodes and trichograma wasps. The benefits of these beneficial creatures will be discussed.
- Beth Skinner of Alvarado, Texas will be teaching us about the many benefits of raising chickens. She and her husband own a chicken hatchery.
- Stanley Liles will be teaching us about composting barrels.
- Homer Babbit will be educating us on the topic of rain barrels.
- Local rabbit breeder, Rachel Molder, shares with us the many benefits of raising rabbits.
