Father-Daughter Dance

father-daughter-dance-logoCelebrate the special bond that fathers and daughters share with an evening of fun at Clark Gardens.

Show your daughter how important she is. Fathers and daughters (K-6th grade) are invited to dress in their Sunday best and enjoy an evening full of music, dancing, and refreshments.

Ticket proceeds are used for volunteer and community contribution efforts the GALS are involved with such as Relay for Life, Meals on Wheels, Father-Daughter and educational events for the girls.

 
Spring Festival

April 13th and 14th, 2013: The Spring Festival is a weekend of fun, food and entertainment for all ages.The festival is presented by State Bank Mineral Wells * Possum Kingdom * Weatherford

There are a wide variety of activities during the Festival:

Join Clark Gardens for an Easter HOPportunity

Clark Gardens will host family-friendly Easter activities Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a community-wide sunrise service Sunday, March 31.

These events will take place, rain or shine.

 
Mother's Day Luncheon

Mother's Day LuncheonEach year Clark Gardens hosts a Mother's Day Celebration. It's an opportunity for you to treat Mom to a beautifully prepared and tasty lunch on her special day in the Gardens. Also included are admission to the Gardens and a digital picture for each mother.

This special event will happen rain or shine.

Buffet Brunch is served 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Park Hours are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

 
Photography Contest

2012 - Clark Gardens 4th Annual Fall Photography ContestInformation and entry forms for the 2012, 4th Annual Fall Photography Contest is available. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each division will receive a cash award. First place and People's Choice receive a beautifully hand-crafted plaque.

Winning photographs will be exhibited in a public venue the month of November.

Run From The Ducks

Runners2012 marks the Sixth Annual Remembering Vietnam: 8-Hour Run From the Ducks
Saturday, September 29, 2012 - 7:00 am
Sponsored by Clark Gardens Botanical Park

Run From the Ducks is an eight-hour timed event that is run on a 1.08 mile loop through Clark Gardens Botanical Park. Most of the course is either fine gravel or grass. All proceeds go to benefit the National Vietnam War Museum.

Half Marathon and 5K

Each year on Saturday morning during our Fall Festival, Clark Gardens hosts a half marathon and 5K run/walk.

The half marathon and 5K are presented by Palo Pinto General Hospital and the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce.

The run starts and finishes in Clark Gardens. The race is on paved paths winding through beautiful tree lined paths both in Clark Gardens and on the Rails to Trails.

BOOtanical

October 31st - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

On October 31st between 5:00 and 8:00 pm, Clark Gardens BOOtanical Park becomes a marvelously fun place for kids of all ages to enjoy Halloween. The BOOtanical is also a time we participate in a area-wide food drive benefiting local area food banks, service organizations and animal shelters. Admission to the event is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item, pet food, or a cash donation.
